Plant Capability
Work is now being undertaken at the plant to accommodate gas from the RWE operated Breagh development. This work is now anticipated to be complete by mid 2013. Train 1, which has been non-operational since September 2008 when the original 15-year term contract to process Everest and Lomond gas for the Teesside Power Station ended, is being modified to process Breagh gas from the Southern North Sea. The processing of Central North Sea gas will continue in Train 2 which has also been enhanced as described in the CNS Upgrades section.
This schematic shows the plant layout once the Breagh development work has been completed.
